By the way, now that I have over 100 responses to my survey, I can share some preliminary results:
The concept itself has a little over a 91% positive rating! That's good news!
The idea of it being on a pay service like Showtime, Netflix or Amazon Prime has a 81.5% positive rating (with significantly more "Maybe" responses). Not bad, considering. I think with HBO, Showtime and Starz really making some great series and Netflix and Amazon Prime making some fantastic original shows, people are warming up to this idea more and more... The reason Showtime, specifically, is included in this question is that Showtime is a wholly owned subsidiary of CBS Corporation (and CBS Television Studios holds the production rights to any new Star Trek TV series).
Thanks for all the responses - keep them coming!
