I've been absent from the site lately, trying to work on the pitch (and just getting caught up in work and family life). I have written a 5th draft that I like much better and I feel is thematically stronger and more focused. I probably won't put it up before the pitch meeting, though, which is coming up in just a couple weeks.
In the meantime, I've plotted out what happens in season one, episode-by-episode (a 2 hour pilot and 11 more episodes for a total of 13 hours). It took some revisions, but I like what I ended up with. I have a chart with each episode across the top in columns and then rows below that for: the overall plot of each episode, the major subplots of the season and each character's arc through each episode and the entire season. If the pitch is definitely going nowhere, maybe I'll put it online afterwards.
Also working on finalizing the series bible - a lot of which is on the website, here, but I have a lot more info in my own documents - including the overall series plot for seven seasons.
Finally, I have a few artists who have volunteered to help out with concept art - costuming, set design, the new Enterprise design, a new logo, etc, etc. I may be able to share some of that stuff on the site in a week or two (I can't really submit it to Paramount unless I get permission from the artists involved).
So, stay tuned and be patient... After the pitch meeting, I'll update this blog with any info I'm able to share, if any... and wish me luck!
